Why is there no mood for "apathetic" or "listlessness" or such things alike?

In other words, hello world.

I got directed back here. And it's been a long while since I've bothered with this thing. So I clur'd out mah updates box. Nothing exciting about it.

But if you want interesting, here's a thought. (Though I suppose not for the sex wary.)

The idea of those Box Tops for Education things on a box of Kotex sincerely perplexes me. It's like... bleed every month and donate ten cents to your school! I'm not sure whether there's any political insinuation that was subconsciously behind that choice, or if it's some sort of comment about our education system.

I have a Graphire4 4x5 tablet (blue). When I first got it, I picked up on the separated hand-eye coordination pretty quickly. As for the line quality, it kind of depends on speed and pressure. For smooth lines, I do quick strokes but I loose a bit of control with direction sometimes so I end up undoing the last stroke and redrawing it several times. That's not really due to just the Graphire, but really just having draw with a tablet in general.

The only minor problem I have with it is the fact that sometimes my driver stops working and the stylus acts like a mouse. Though that might be that I'm using Vista or that I need to update my driver or whatever. Quickly solved by either a reboot or just reconnecting the device.

Okay, thanks for your imput. I'll have a look at one of those too.
Y'know what's annoying? I've been to a couple of stores and none of them have graphics tablets on display (to try out) like they do with the computers and stuff.

Mmmyes, I've actually only seen tablets on shelf at the Apple store in one of the fancier rich malls around here. Most likely for the reason that Apples have superior graphics for digital artists though so far I've only noticed a change of color hue/saturation whenever I switch systems.

Ah, the apple store... I think there's one in a city not too far away from me...
